Learn about the art of cooking Indian cuisine this hands-on practical lesson will take you step by step through each recipe showing you and giving you lots of how to best cook using spices, and you will get a recipe at the end.
What do I need to bring?
Some key ingredients, a list will be attached when you book.
All spices and pastes are included.
Please also bring the following to all your classes.
Apron, tea towel, dishcloth, and sponge.
wooden spoon for mixing
2 heavy based saucepans with lids unless speicifed.
measuring cups (if you have)
kitchen knife (not too sharp)
2 large containers to take food home.
***Please note - there is all the above in the food room for us to use however I always ask my students to bring as it is cleaner, easier and we are then able to leave the room clean at the end of class. (There will be measuring cups if you don’t have any and if you forget anything don’t worry as I try to bring extra)
Class Objectives
The classes aims to introduce students to prepare with confidence Indian dishes that are simple, but nonetheless authentic recipes for those exploring for the first time.
Who is this class for?
Anyone who enjoys Indian food and is interested in cooking genuine Indian dishes from this exciting cuisine, and at the end of the evening you'll take home all your lovely cooking to enjoy at home with friends and family.
Any extra cost incurred during course?
You will need to bring the main key ingredients, from the dishes you will be making, this list will be also attached on the booking page when you book.
What can I do next?
You may wish to extend your culinary skills even further by enrolling on other Indian cookery classes or courses if not done already all classes and courses are independent and therefore you can do them in any order.
Any other cost?
There may be a chance to win amazing raffle prizes and you can buy some £2 and £3 raffle tickets.
Indian spice Kitchen – Can I buy anything that I have seen on website when in class?
There will be a chance to buy spice tins, utensils, equipment and spices from the Indian spice kitchen some discounted items will be available to buy.
When booking your class you can also add on extras to buy if you want.
